On September 4th, 2026, members of the CGCC team were invited to Yale University as guest lecturers to speak with students about Chinese language, career development, and the experiences of Chinese enterprises in the United States.

Hallie Carmen, Senior Marketing Manager at CGCC, delivered a presentation titled “How Chinese Language Skills Shape Career Opportunities,” sharing how her Mandarin skills have influenced her career path and created opportunities to work across languages and cultures.

Abby Li, Director of Corporate Communication and Research at CGCC, offered insights into the work of CGCC and discussed key trends affecting Chinese enterprises operating in the United States.

By bringing real-world professional experience into the classroom, the visit gave students a deeper understanding of how language and cultural knowledge can shape meaningful careers. It also reflected CGCC Foundation’s commitment to expanding educational opportunities, fostering cross-cultural understanding, and preparing the next generation to contribute to stronger ties between the United States and China.
