Bridge 桥梁 International Forum

The Bridge International Forum is an international academic and educational exchange platform jointly initiated by universities, academic organizations, and related institutions in the United States and China. Anchored in language and culture, the conference integrates academic exchange, project and resource showcases, educational collaboration, and practice-based innovation, with a focus on “Chinese Plus, ” vocational education, and applied Chinese education.

The 2026 conference will be held at Columbia University in New York, themed "Chinese Language Applications and Vocational Education Development." The event will focus on how Chinese language proficiency serves as a key competency bridging education and workforce demands, advancing career-oriented curricula and training models, and supporting practical applications in the global workplace.

The conference is hosted by the American Association for International Education Advancement (AAIEA), with co-organizing institutions including Duke University, University of Michigan, University of California, Santa Barbara, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Brandeis University, Wake Forest University, Drexel University, Alfred University, the School of Applied Chinese Language Studies at Beijing Language and Culture University, and Beijing Polytechnic College.
