New York, NY — May 13, 2026 — The China General Chamber of Commerce-USA (CGCC) co-hosted a business dialogue in New York with a delegation from China participating in an executive MBA program at Berkeley College, alongside members of CGCC.

Co-hosted with CGCC member company SCG America at its Midtown office, the event introduced CGCC and its programs and featured a focused discussion on the evolving U.S. business environment for Chinese enterprises.

The program opened with remarks from Winfred ZHANG, Vice Chair of CGCC and President & CEO of SCG America Group.

April LUO, Director of Project Management at CGCC, provided an overview of the Chamber and its initiatives.

Shanéa Jarrett, faculty member of the Berkeley College Global Alliance and Director of Residential Education at The New School, delivered a presentation on Berkeley College and its longstanding history of exchange and cooperation with China.

During the program, Winfred ZHANG also shared SCG America’s experience entering the U.S. market, highlighting both opportunities and challenges the company has encountered in its operations.

The session concluded with a legal insights segment led by experts from the CGCC community, who offered perspectives on the U.S. investment landscape and key considerations for Chinese enterprises investing in the United States. Speakers included Alex HAO of JunHe Law Office and Jun KANG of King & Wood Mallesons.

Fan ZHANG, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Consulate General in New York gave closing remarks at the event, where he wished the delegation a successful trip in New York.
