
CGCC Visits LA and SF Chapters to meet with Consul Generals
April 29, 2014 -- Mr. Yuan Ning, Chairman of China General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC), Candice Niu and Richard Huang, executive directors of CGCC, kicked off a two-day trip to the west coast. The CGCC leadership lineup met with Los Angeles and San Francisco consul generals and visited local chapters.

CGCC and the LA and SF chapters reported the member enterprises’ growth under the care of the consulate general, their major achievements as well as the challenges to the local consul generals. The consul generals highly appreciated the success of the CGCC and wished even better performance and services for the China enterprises in US. Mr. Yuan Nansheng, Consul general of SF, remarked that he looked forward to more branding, institution, and diversity of the CGCC’s events. The SF Economic and Commercial Counsellor Mr. Xia Xiang also expressed his wishes for a more professional, standard and mainstream CGCC. Consul general of the people’s republic of China in San Francisco will support CGCC and the SF chapter - Chinese Enterprises Association as they always do. The Deputy Consul General of The People’s Republic of China in LA, Ms. Bian Lixin and the Economic and Commercial Counsellor Mr. Liu Haiyan stated their expectation of a more positive image and more proactive social responsibility of the China enterprises in US.

SF and LA chapters communicated the experiences and obstacles with CGCC leaders during the visit and looked forward to more interaction and cooperation as well as the supports from CGCC. Both SF and LA chapters remarked that CGCC shall help the national wide member enterprises to build deeper connections with China central government and US federal government, and looked forward to CGCC’s integration of all local chapters’ resources and held classic events with higher national wide participation.
