In December 2017, CGCC and its members participated in the Holiday Donation activity series initiated by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, sending the best wishes to the neighbors in need in New York State.

On December 19, CGCC team came to Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York, bringing many popular children toys for the donation. Along with other volunteers, CGCC team sorted, wrapped, and packed more than 1,500 toys. On December 21, CGCC Member of Board Directors and President & CEO Greenland USA Hu Gang, representing CGCC members, together with Commissioner of the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal RuthAnne Visnauskas, distributed the toys to the children in Harlem Hospital.

The Holiday Donation activities were initiated by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo several years ago, aiming to encourage people to help neighbors and support families and children in need. This is the first year that CGCC, CGCC Foundation, and CGCC members come to join the charity activities by standing together this holiday season and support the communities and children. CGCC donated approximately $2,000 toys and helped packed and distributed the gifts.

CGCC and CGCC Foundation will continue devoting to public charity activities, and support Chinese companies in the US to better fulfill social responsibility and give back to local communities.
