On June 2nd, 2025, the seventh annual China–California Business Forum convened at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, drawing over 500 entrepreneurs and officials from China and the U.S. state of California to promote deeper economic, trade, and cultural exchanges.
Held under the theme “Better Understanding, Better Business,” the forum focused on strengthening mutual trust and unlocking new opportunities for cross-border collaboration.
Prominent representatives from CGCC member companies took part in the event, including Wei Hu, CGCC Chairman and President & CEO of Bank of China U.S.A.; Amy Lei, CGCC Board Director and Vice President of Fuyao Group North America; and Shau Zhang, Partner and Americas China Overseas Investment Leader at EY.

Distinguished guests also included Chinese Consul General in Los Angeles Guo Shaochun; Dilpreet Sidhu, Deputy Mayor of Los Angeles; Toks Omishakin, Secretary of Transportation for the State of California; Wang Jinfu, Vice Governor of Fujian Province; and Han Shengjian, Vice Governor of Heilongjiang Province.

In addition to remarks and panel discussions, the event also included a special signing ceremony between Chinese and American companies.
The Forum was hosted by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Los Angeles, and co-hosted by the Bay Area Council and the World Trade Center Los Angeles.
