
NEW YORK, September 22, 2022 – China General Chamber of Commerce - USA (CGCC) was pleased to welcome Mr. Heping JIANG, President of CGTN America, and Ms. Xin ZHANG, Vice President of CGTN America, to lead an insightful Breakfast and Conversation event surrounding global communication topics and practices.

During the event, Mr. Jiang and Ms. Zhang shared personal anecdotes from their seasoned careers in journalism and expertise in international communication methods. Mr. Jiang emphasized that media organizations should have "six types of thinking" to be impactful: bottom-line thinking, global thinking, local thinking, innovative thinking, digital thinking, and business thinking. Ms. Zhang pointed out that CGTN’s mission is to promote the healthy development of the relationship between China and the U.S. through journalism and media production. “Just like the slogan of CGTN - ‘make a difference', we should tell the story of the people and culture of both countries,” said Zhang.
Wei HU, Chairman of CGCC, President & CEO of Bank of China U.S.A., concluded and emphasized the importance of vision, professionalism, and innovation to the development of the U.S.-China business community.
The CGCC Lunch & Learn/Breakfast & Conversation Series aims to provide a platform for leaders from CGCC member companies and partners to share their industry insights with CGCC member companies and team members.
