On April 6, 2024, Wei HU,  Chairman of China General Chamber of Commerce – USA(CGCC)and President & CEO of Bank of China U.S.A, participated in the inaugural meeting of the 2024 Columbia China Summit at Columbia Business School’s Manhattanville Campus where he delivered closing remarks.

In his remarks, Chairman HU reiterated that China’s economy is in a pivotal transformation and resilience and innovation characterize China’s journey towards sustainable growth. He encouraged all participants to take the opportunity of the Summit to continue facilitating a deeper understanding and forge stronger bonds between US-China business sectors.

Approaching its 20th year in 2025, Chairman HU highlighted that CGCC will continue to support future events and gatherings for open communication and exchange between the two peoples.

The Columbia China Summit, formerly known as the China Business Conference(CCBC) is an annual organized by the Greater China Society of Columbia Business School (GCS). It stands out as one of the most influential China-related business conferences in North America. Established in 2008, the conference envisions enhancing participants' understanding of China's rapidly evolving business and economic environment.
