On February 27th, 2019, representatives of China General Chamber of Commerce-USA (CGCC) attended a dinner reception hosted by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of New York (JCCI) to celebrate the Chinese New Year together. This event enhanced bilateral communication and mutual understanding between Chinese and Japanese business communities in the United States.

Mr. Hidemoto Mizuhara, the Chairman of JCCI, and President & CEO of Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas), welcomed the guests at his corporate residence, shared his past experiences with China, and wished for continued friendship and cooperation between Chinese and Japanese business communities.

Xu Chen, Chairman of CGCC and President & CEO of Bank of China USA thanked Mr. Mizuhara and the JCCI team for arranging this important gathering. As he mentioned, the development of Chinese businesses in the US today share many similarities with the Japanese companies. By hosting dialogues as such, CGCC and JCCI members can learn from each other the best solutions and practices of operating a business in the U.S.

CGCC looks forward to further enhancing its relationship and collaboration with JCCI in investment, community service as well as in other areas in the future.
