Ambassador Cui Tiankai Meets CGCC Board Members in Washington D.C.

February 19. 2014 -- Ambassador Cui Tiankai met the board members of China General Chamber of Commerce – U.S.A. at the Embassy of China in Washington, D.C.


During the meeting, Ambassador Cui expresses his congratulations to the newly elected board members and leaders of CGCC, highly acknowledges the achievement CGCC accomplished since its inception in 2005, and hopes the new executive team could lead CGCC making great progress in the future. Moreover, Ambassador Cui also encourages CGCC uniting more Chinese enterprises in the U.S., protecting the legitimate rights of its members. And he also wishes Chinese business could enhance their social responsibility and improve the image of Chinese business in the U.S.

Ambassador Cui says, “Chinese investment is a part of China-U.S. relationship, the Chinese Embassy commits to provide assistance to the Chinese investment, protect the legitimate rights of Chinese enterprises, and further push the China-U.S. relationship moving forward."

 


On behalf of all the members of CGCC, The President of CGCC, Mr. Yuan Ning, appreciates the support of Chinese Embassy and Ambassador Cui to CGCC, and expresses the determination of CGCC to serve the members and act as a bond of China – U.S. commercial relationship and cooperation of enterprises. Minister Counsellor Tian Deyou of the Office of Economics and Commerce Affair of Embassy of China also participates the meeting.
