On May 19th, 2026, CGCC member company King & Wood celebrated the opening of its Los Angeles office with a special program and reception held at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena.
The event featured remarks from Peng Jing, Counselor for Commerce at the Consulate General of China in Los Angeles; Ye Chun, President of China General Chamber of Commerce Los Angeles; Xu Ping, member of the firm’s Management Committee and International Managing Partner; and Meg Utterback, North America Managing Partner.
The program also included a panel discussion featuring partners from the firm’s U.S. offices, who shared insights into the evolving legal and regulatory challenges facing Chinese businesses operating in the United States.
