BYD’s Lancaster factory alone has over 500 local employees today.

Other honorees this year include the Honorable Max Baucus, former U.S. Ambassador to China; His Excellency Cui Tiankai, Chinese Ambassador to the U.S.; and Mr. Charlie Jiang, Vice Chairman of CGCC and Chairman and CEO of China-U.S. SkyClub. Every year, the U.S.-China Policy Foundation honors exceptional individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the promotion and studies of China-U.S. relations and has been broadly covered by major U.S. and Chinese media in the United States. Previous awardees include Ban Ki-moon, former United Nations Secretary-General, and Elaine L. Chao, U.S. Transport Secretary, etc.
