On March 22, 2021, City & State report: The Real Estate Power 100 continued recognizing 2021’s 100 most powerful people in New York real estate. Hu Gang, the president and CEO of Greenland USA, ranked 68th, becoming the only Chinese real estate developer on the list.
Hu Gang leads the American subsidiary of one of the biggest real estate developers in China, overseeing the firm’s $7 billion in assets and investment strategy, which includes Pacific Park, the mixed-use Brooklyn megadevelopment it is working on with Forest City Partners.
On April 13, 2021, Pacific Park B3 and B14 projects successfully introduced Wonder forest Preschool and A. Mano Home Furnishings Store. On October 28, 2021, the success of the project is the biggest guarantee for EB5 investors. Greenland USA has kept its promise and fully repaid the US$100 million EB5 investment in the Los Angeles R1 project.
On December 21, 2021, Greenland USA, in partnership with developer Brodsky, successfully got TCO, the 859-unit B4 building project. The B4 is the tallest building of the Pacific Park Project and includes 258 affordable units.
