2022年5月9日至10日，美国中国总商会 (以下简称“总商会”) 会员企业代表前往美国“第一州”特拉华州威尔明顿市，进行会员企业参访。
会员企业代表们通过为期两天的实地考察及与当地政府官员的沟通交流，深入了解了特拉华州的经济发展情况。
代表们首先参访了特拉华繁荣伙伴关系 (DPP) 总部。DPP是一家非营利经济发展组织，自 2017 年成立以来一直致力于推动特拉华州的经济发展，以吸引、留住和壮大企业与商业投资。
DPP主席兼首席执行官科特·弗曼（Kurt Foreman）和DPP全球顾问迈克尔·马奎特（Michael Marquardt）向总商会会员进行介绍。特拉华州作为中大西洋地区理想的商业中心，充满优质的合作与投资机会。
随后，总商会会员在威尔明顿市中心历史悠久的杜邦酒店享用了由约翰·卡尼（John Carney）州长主持的特别欢迎晚宴。
