美国中国总商会（以下简称“总商会”）成立于2005年，是代表中国在美投资企业的规模最大、最有影响力的非营利组织。总商会旨在为中美企业创造价值，推动经济发展，促进两国商业交流与合作。总商会服务范围覆盖全美，为1000余家跨国会员企业提供优质的服务与丰富的资源。
总商会为无党派的非政府组织，具有独立性，其日常工作与运营主要来自中美会员企业的慷慨赞助与支持。这些会员企业当中，44家位列2024《财富》世界500强。截至2024年7月，总商会中资会员企业对美投资额累计超过1,440亿美元，在美直接雇佣员工超过23万人，间接支持超过100万个工作岗位。
总商会与各大知名机构及各行业的杰出商业领导者建立了深厚的合作关系这使其成为促进中美两大经济体间理解、信任和互动的重要平台。总商会还开展多项调研工作并发布相关研究报告，其中《在美中资企业年度商业调查报告》作为中资企业在美投资最全面客观的参考之一，连续十年综合呈现了中资公司在美经营的总体情况及其对美国市场环境的评估与分析。
美国中国总商会基金会（以下简称“基金会”）成立于2014年，是拥有501(c)(3)免税资格的慈善组织。基金会通过开展调研、公益慈善及组织经济、文化和社会交流等活动，致力于加深中美两国的相互理解与合作。
总商会连接美国各地的中美两国企业高管，通过其标志性的项目、活动及量身定做的会员服务，提供共享信息、深化交流、创造商机和鼓励合作的平台。 通过其标志性计划、活动、倡议和专门的会员服务。
