中国传统戏曲历史悠久，内涵丰富，集文学、音乐、舞蹈、美术等因素于一体，不仅是广大华人共有的生动文化记忆，也是属于全人类的非物质文化遗产。纽约梨园社成立于2006年，是非盈利艺术机构，成员多为热爱戏曲艺术的义工，旨在促进中国传统戏曲在美国的发展，使大众能够领略戏曲之美。多年来我社坚持举办剧场公演、社区示范、社团联谊、传习研究等多项活动，希望为中美文化交流及社区文化的多元化发展尽绵薄之力。我社下设青年团、书法班等组织，以更好地传播中国传统文化。
