Topic Summary

Cross-Border Estate Planning

Cross-border estate planning touches on a variety of complex income, estate and gift tax rules, and usually requires coordination with professionals in a foreign jurisdiction.  Such planning can take many forms, including marriage to a non-citizen spouse, foreign persons acquiring a second home in the U.S. and pre-immigration planning.  Our presentation highlights some of those issues.
