CGCC Co-hosts Dinner for Vice Premier Wang Qishan in Washington D.C.

December 19, 2012 -- CGCC co-hosted the dinner for His Excellency Vice Premier Wang Qishan and the Chinese delegation of the 23rd China-U.S. Joint Commission of Commerce and Trade at the Grand Ball Room of J.W. Marriot Hotel, with U.S. China Business Council and U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Several honorable CGCC’s executive board members were invited in the dinner along with the other guests from the U.S. business community. President Ning Yuan of CGCC was invited to sit on the head table.

During the dinner, the President and CEO of U.S. chamber of Commerce, Mr. Thomas J. Donohue welcomed Vice Premier Wang on behalf all the guests. The Deputy Secretary of Commerce Ms. Rebecca Blank and U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk remarked the importance of China-U.S. bilateral relationship in the commerce and trade area, and highly appreciated the consistence efforts Vice Premier Wang dedicated to enhance the commercial relationship between the two countries in the past decades. The Chairman of The U.S. – China Business Council, Mr. Robert A. McDonald introduced Vice Premier Wang to the guests and invited him addressing the speech. In the speech, Vice Premier Wang Qishan outlined the responsibility and the promising between the China, U.S. commercial relationship, urged U.S. to improve the investment environment for Chinese companies and expressed his hope and positive expectative towards the future of China and U.S..

CGCC's executive board members from CGCC also briefly talked about their achievements in the U.S., expressed their best wishes to Vice Premier Wang during the dinner.
