CGCC Co-Hosts Seminar with Epstein Becker & Green, P.C.

November 14, 2013 -- CGCC co-hosted seminar with Associate Member Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. titled "Successfully Navigating Your Business in the U.S. During Challenging Economic Times" on October 9th at the Cornell Club in New York. The seminar introduced updated immigration and employment information to CGCC members. Over 30 members participated the seminar.

For Chinese companies enterprising in the U.S. immigration and multination employment problems are inescapable ones they have to deal with. With current affairs such as government shutdown and Obama administration, internal and external environment resulted to a new compliance one.

Robert S. Groban Jr., who has over 25 years' experience counseling, provided important immigration and related concerns with detail explanation on how U.S. immigration developments affects Chinese businesses, risk management issues in the employment of foreign nationals, and how to represent them in worksite enforcement and other immigration-related civil or criminal litigation.

Professionals from legal and human resource department demonstrated interest on his presentation and responded with excellent questions and shared their own experience.

This annual program initiated by Epstein Becker & Green has been serving CGCC members for years.
