On Wednesday, April 29th, 2026, the China General Chamber of Commerce-USA (CGCC) hosted a fifty-person delegation of legal professionals from China for a morning of exchange and dialogue at the Bank of China building in Manhattan.
Moderated by Wendy Wu, Partner and Managing Director of Intelligeast, the event included remarks by Gang Zhang, Executive Vice President of the Bank of China U.S. Branches.

Xue Luo, Director of Project Management at the China General Chamber of Commerce-USA, gave attendees an introduction to CGCC, its programs, and initiatives.
Moderated by Tony Zhou, CGCC General Counsel, the event included a panel discussion titled, The Business Environment and Legal Needs of Chinese Enterprises in the United States. Panelists included: Yanmei Wei, General Counsel at Bank of China U.S.A.; Dr. Haiyan Tang, chief representative and managing partner of Quinn Emanuel’s Shanghai Office; Shuxiang Cai, General Manager, New York Office, China Eastern Airlines; Nan Shen, Vice President at Hylant; Carol (Qing) Pan, Asst GM -USA East REGION at CTS Global Supply Chain Solutions.
The delegation’s visit to New York marks the second stop on their U.S. tour, following an earlier visit to Boston. Their itinerary will continue to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
