The CGCC Foundation was proud to support Crossroads Community Service’s Fare Share Friday for the sixth consecutive year, continuing its commitment to provide the local community with essential resources and support to those in need.
Taking place annually on the day after Thanksgiving, the event brought together volunteers, partners, and donors for a powerful day of service and generosity where volunteers served more than 450 meals and distributed thousands of gifts to New Yorkers in need.
Fare Share Friday involved months of preparation: partners hosted toy drives, assembled emergency bags, sorted thousands of Bazaar items, and knitted hundreds of hats and gloves to ensure every guest felt supported and cared for. Donors also helped underwrite event costs so that all funds raised could directly feed families and individuals facing food insecurity.
CGCC Foundation remains dedicated to engaging with and supporting the communities it serves. By collaborating with organizations like Crossroads, the Foundation continues to make a positive impact, helping ensure that those in need have access to essential resources, nourishment, and care.
