On June 17th, CGCC co-hosted the “Returning to Work: Legal
Updates & Considerations for Employers” webinar with Littler Mendelson P.C.
as part of the CGCC E-Connects event series. Littler Shareholders Philip M.
Berkowitz and Devjani H. Mishra, along with Littler Special Counsel Melissa
Peters, paneled a vital discussion on the legal considerations employers need
to reinforce when employees begin returning back to the workplace. Topics
discussed included practical and legal considerations of returning to work;
assessing the current government closure and reopening guidances; designing an
appropriate workplace safety plan; preparing the workplace and gearing up for
return; and re-engaging the workforce.

The second half of the
webinar featured a special “Staying Open Safely” Q&A session with Alan
Wong, Senior Vice President and  Head of
Human Resources Department at Bank of China USA.

The session covered a
number of key topics including “protecting confidentiality,” “challenges of
remote supervision,” and “robust safety measures.”

CGCC sincerely thanks
webinar co-host Littler Mendelson P.C. and
all webinar speakers for their participation and for the unique insights each
brought to the discussion.
