On September 29th, 2022, China General Chamber of Commerce – USA (CGCC) and representatives from its member companies attended the Rebuilding New York Summit at the Museum of Jewish Heritage.
Hosted by City & State, the summit featured discussions about New York city and state’s infrastructure issues, policy recommendations, and its successes and shortcomings.

The event included a keynote address by Maria Torres-Springer, New York City Deputy Mayor for Economic & Workforce Development, and four panel discussions titled “Design & Construction in a Post-Pandemic Era”, “Rethinking New York’s Transportation Systems”, “Innovation in NY Rebuilding: Construction, Development & Workforce”, and “The Public-Private Partnerships Bringing Projects to Life in New York”.
