NEW YORK, September 18, 2026 — The China General Chamber of Commerce – USA (CGCC) hosted a Leaders Roundtable at ICBC New York Branch, welcoming a delegation led by Eric Zheng, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (AmCham Shanghai), during their visit to New York. Dr. Jianyu Zhang, Chair of CGCC and CEO of ICBC U.S. Region, and representatives of CGCC’s Board of Directors joined the discussion. The two sides exchanged views on U.S.-China economic and trade relations, the evolving business environment, and opportunities for future collaboration between the two organizations.
CGCC and AmCham Shanghai have maintained a longstanding relationship, with the two organizations engaging over the years through jointly organized programs and senior-level exchanges. The roundtable provided another opportunity to strengthen ties between the two organizations and explore ways to better serve the U.S. and Chinese business communities.
