CGCC’s “Experience 2020” Photo Contest Comes to a Successful Close

NEW YORK, NY – On
November 23rd, 2020, the “Experience 2020” Photo Contest successfully came to a close. Organized by China General Chamber of Commerce-USA
(CGCC) and CGCC Foundation, the contest aimed to highlight continued
cooperation, cross-cultural exchange, and understanding among Chinese and
American business communities amid the unprecedented challenges of the global
pandemic.

Open to both individual and company entrants, every
participant was encouraged to submit up to six photographs relating in some shape or form to
the broader theme of U.S.- China Cooperation in 2020.

  • 10,021 votes received during the voting
    period
  • 130+ 
    photo entries received across all three photo contest themes
    (Cooperation, Social Responsibility, Technology)

From company team building activities and adjusting to the
“work from home” environment to celebrating cultural festivals and
participating in charitable projects, the “Experience 2020” Photo Contest
received a diverse set of submissions from companies and individuals all across
the U.S. Together, these submissions tell empowering stories of individuals and
companies rising above hardships faced throughout 2020 to actively engage and
give back to local communities across the country.

A total of five submissions with the highest number of votes
were deemed the photo contest winners. The contest winners were all company
entrants and included PetroChina International (America) Inc, Grand View
Construction LLC (宝盛集团), China Telecom (Americas)
Corporation, Harmonia Capital, and Comrise.

Company prize winners will win the opportunity to be a title
sponsor of CGCC’s daily bilingual newsletter, CGCC
Today’s Headlines
, for one month in the upcoming year. In addition,
a selection of photo submissions will be featured and printed in CGCC’s 2020
Annual Report.

CGCC and CGCC Foundation warmly congratulate all photo contest winners and sincerely thank all participants for their support.
