New York University’s Skirball Center for the Performing Arts invites you to join us for our Visions + Voices: China launch press event and VIP cocktail reception featuring very special guests and a performance by the world-renowned pipa player, Zhou Yi. We will celebrate the official opening of a visual art exhibit as well as introduce the performing artists and companies that will take part in our wide-ranging series of Chinese dance, opera, theater, symphonic music, film, and more.

The Visions + Voices Global Performance Series is an annual performing arts series presented by NYU Skirball that celebrates the richness of NYU’s global network of campuses. Our second edition turns the focus to China in honor of NYU Shanghai's opening and highlights artists who build upon Chinese cultural tradition while embracing modern perspectives. This year also marks the 35^th anniversary of China / U.S. diplomatic relations: a momentous milestone. We hope you will join us at our opening event and in support of this exciting springtime series!
