CGCC member, Fuyao Glass America, has officially opened a new manufacturing plant adjacent to its original site in Moraine, Ohio. This new greenfield facility represents an investment of around $300 million and is expected to create approximately 500 new jobs.
The cutting-edge plant is now fully operational and is focused on producing advanced glass technologies to support electric vehicles (EVs), heads-up displays, driver assistance systems, and other innovative smart glass solutions for next-generation automobiles.
Fuyao Glass America Vice President, CGCC Board Amy Lei said: “So, for Fuyao, this (new) plant isn’t just about adding capacity—it’s a statement of purpose: to be future-ready, people-focused, and community-rooted.”
