The Chairman of China General Chamber of Commerce – Washington D.C. Chapter, Executive Vice President of China Unicom (Americas), Mrs. JIANG Chun returned to China in January 2019. After formal deliberation, the CGCC-D.C. Board of Directors has elected CGCC-D.C. Vice Chairman, the President of China Telecom (Americas) Corporation, Mr. TAN Xu as Acting Chairman.

 Mr. TAN Xu, China Telecom (Americas) Corporation President and newly elected Acting Chairman of CGCC-Washington D.C.

 The term of the current Board of Directors will expire in  
 2019. A general election to formally elect a new Board and Officers is scheduled for the summer of 2019.
