CCA Wins Another Infrastructure Project in New York; Ranked by ENR

On June 26, 2012, CCA Civil won the bid on the Replacement of Shore (Belt) Parkway Bridge over Gerritsen Inlet (GIB). With a total contract value of $104.2 million, CCA stood out as the apparent low bidder, winning a narrow margin of 2%. The project will last for four and a half years.

The reconstruction on the Belt Parkway is one of the most important infrastructure projects carried out by the New York City Department of Transportation, which includes the reconstruction of seven bridges and their approaches on the Belt Parkway. The scope of the work under CCA Civil’s contract includes the demolition and reconstruction of the Parkway Bridge over Gerritsen Inlet, its approaches, the roads along the parkway and existing facilities.

GIB is another project CCA Civil bid and won as independent general contractor in Greater New York after the Staten Island Expressway project. During the bidding process, the entire team collaborated effectively on all aspects of estimating and cost analysis. The commencement of the GIB project will continue to build up CCA’s own brand image in the infrastructure industry of the Tri-State area and the United States as a whole.

On July 2, 2012, ENR New York released its annual top lists for the construction industry in the tri-state region, based on the companies’ 2011 revenue data. CCA made its debut in the Top Contractors’ main rankings as No. 21, and ranked No. 12 among all general contractors.
