Zhang Xin is the Vice President for CGTN America, CGTN’s chief production center in North America, based in Washington D.C. Ms. Zhang Xin is a seasoned executive with a sharp and global vision. She graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University and started her career in CCTV. She led the establishment of CCTV’s extensive Overseas Correspondent Networks across the world, which facilitated the transformation of CCTV into a major international media organization. She was also in charge of managing and operating the Correspondent Networks, recruiting talents through CCTV international talent networks, implementing the Networks’ expansion. During her leadership, she led the founding of three production centers in Kenya, North America, and Europe, as well as Asian-Pacific, Eurasian and Brazilian regional centers. She led CCTV’s external partnership with global media organizations across the world, particularly in the field of content exchange. In 2019, Ms. Zhang Xin joined CGTN America as the Vice President.
