Paul Nash is the Chief Compliance Officer at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, New York Branch (ICBC). He has served in that capacity since 2018. In his role, Mr. Nash oversees the BSA/AML and Corporate Compliance programs of the Branch. He chairs the branch Compliance Committee and he also chairs the ICBC Regional Compliance Committee which provides oversight of the retail bank and broker dealer. Prior to joining ICBC, Mr. Nash was the Senior Deputy Comptroller and Chief of Staff at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) from 2012-2017, where he served on multiple committees over seeing the supervision policy and operations of the agency. He also has been the Deputy to the Chairman for External Affairs at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from 2009-2012. In that role, he oversaw the agency’s Office of Legislative Affairs, the Office of the Ombudsman, and the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion and oversaw the FDIC's contributions to the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform legislation. Mr. Nash received a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1992 and BA degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in International Relations and History in 1988.
