Mr. Li has been the General Manager of China Construction Bank (CCB) New York Branch (CCB-NY) since March 2018. Mr. Li oversees all banking activities at CCB-NY , including risk management, operations, compliance and information security. He also oversees issues such as liquidity, treasury function, business planning, and human resources. Mr. Li has over 24 years of banking and financial services experience. He was most recently the CEO and a Board member of CCB (Europe) S.A. , which maintains one head office in Luxembourg and five branches in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Milan, Paris and Warsaw. As CEO, Mr. Li was involved in all aspects of the Company’s operations, including spearheading investor relations efforts as well as managing all of the financial institution relationships and financial management functions including financial reporting, asset liability management, treasury, corporate governance and human resources. Prior to CCB-Europe, Luxembourg, he spent 14 years in various senior management roles at CCB overseas institutions in Frankfurt, Germany and Singapore. Having worked in multiple jurisdictions, Mr. Li possesses a broad understanding of the intricacies of varying local regulatory frameworks and requirements, placing him in a leading position to provide guidance to CCB head office senior management members in regulatory/compliance issues and the Basel III framework, thereby ensuring that the Bank operates in a safe and sound manner.
