Qingji is a Principal in EY’s Financial Services practice. Based in New York, Qingji leads EY’s Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice of the Americas. He has 20 years of professional services experience advising leading global financial institutions in addressing their business, technology and operations, and regulatory issues. The FSRM practice that Qingji leads offers a wide array of advisory services in the financial services sector covering enterprise risk management; financial risk management including market risk, credit risk, counterparty credit risk, capital, and treasury and liquidity risk management; recovery and resolution planning; non-financial risk management including operational risk and cyber risk; regulatory compliance including financial crime (BSA/AML and sanctions) compliance, consumer compliance and enterprise compliance; structured finance; and quantitative advisory services. Qingji also has oversight responsibilities for services in capital markets operations improvement and technology. Qingji holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Rochester. Prior to his professional services career Qingji spent a few years in academia teaching and conducting research in mathematics focusing on stochastic analysis and probability theory. He has numerous publications in stochastic differential equations, Ito’s formula, Brownian motion and partial differential equations. Qingji regularly organizes industry events and forums focused on risk management, BSA/AML and regulatory matters.
