On May 30, 2024 ,the China (Guangdong) – U.S. Multinational Enterprises High-Level Roundtable Meeting, supported by the China General Chamber of Commerce – USA (CGCC), was successfully held in San Francisco. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Weizhong WANG, Governor of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, and featured speeches from representatives of 15 U.S. organizations and enterprises. Mr. Wei HU, Chairman of CGCC and President and CEO of Bank of China U.S.A., along with representatives from CGCC member companies FedEx and JPMorgan, attended the meeting.
During the roundtable, Governor Wang emphasized that Guangdong Province is currently seizing the significant opportunities presented by the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation. The province is accelerating the dual-strong promotion of industry and technology, vigorously developing new quality productive forces, and unswervingly promoting high-quality development. Governor Wang welcomed more U.S. companies to invest and establish businesses in Guangdong, stating that the province will continue to create world-class business environment that is market-oriented, rule-of-law-based, and internationalized, promoting the development and growth of foreign-invested enterprises.
