CGCC warmly welcomes photographers of ALL levels to submit photographs which illustrate and/or represent the collaboration between Chinese businesses in the U.S. and their local partners and communities, in this years’ photo contest

NEW YORK, NY – (August 11th, 2020) – China General Chamber of Commerce-USA (CGCC) and CGCC Foundation have launched their annual “Experience 2020” Photo Contest, inviting photographers from all levels to participate.
The contest which runs from August 5th – November 23rd, aims to showcase the individual and collective experiences of Chinese and American business communities throughout 2020.
“Throughout the past couple of months, both companies and individuals have faced unprecedented challenges to sustain their operations and relationships amidst the ongoing global pandemic. Implementing new measures and utilizing new technologies to face these obstacles and adjust to the new reality, both communities have continued to prioritize cross-cultural exchange and understanding through local business cooperation and active charity efforts,” commented Xu Chen, Chairman of CGCC, President & CEO of Bank of China USA.
The photo contest welcomes individuals over the age of 18, as well as companies, to submit photographs under the following categories: Cooperation, Social Responsibility or Technology, via an entry form on the official CGCC photo contest website.
The public voting period will be open from November 2nd – November 23rd. The five photographs with the highest number of votes will be deemed the winners. Company entrant winners will win the opportunity to be a title sponsor for one month of CGCC’s daily bilingual newsletter ‘CGCC’s Today’s Headlines,’ which attracts more than 10,000 readers. Individual entrant winners will win a limited edition X+Q (Chinese contemporary) art sculpture and a meet-and-greet with an award-winning photojournalist. Contest winners will be notified of their win via email on November 24th.
Entrants are encouraged to post their submitted photos on social media (WeChat, Twitter, Facebook, and Linkedin) using the contest’s official hashtag #CGCCPhotoContest to encourage more people to vote for their photo and share their stories.
