CGCC Joined Food Bank for NY’s Dinner Service Program to Help New Yorkers in Need

On November 18th, 2019, China General Chamber of Commerce-USA (CGCC) and CGCC Foundation sponsored a team of volunteers to serve a hot meal to more than 300 New Yorkers in need as part of Food Bank for New York City’s “Dinner Service” program at the Community Kitchen of West Harlem in Manhattan.

Since 2016, CGCC and CGCC Foundation have participated in annual Thanksgiving volunteer service activities to give back to the local community and spread holiday cheer to those in need. This year’s Thanksgiving volunteer activity, “Dinner Service” at the Community Kitchen of West Harlem, brought together a team of 14 volunteers, including representatives from China CITIC Bank International New York Branch, Cathay Bank, and CGCC team members.

CGCC and CGCC Foundation give a heartfelt thanks to all members and volunteers in support of this initiative. CGCC Foundation will continue helping Chinese enterprises in the U.S. to better fulfill corporate social responsibility through various programs.
