CGCC Hosts the Second Event of its U.S. – China Cross-border Investment and Trade Event Series

On October 13th, 2021, CGCC successfully hosted “Experiences Leading Chinese Enterprises in the U.S.” (中企在美经营经验交流分享). As the second event of CGCC’s U.S. – China Cross-border Investment and Trade Event Series, the webinar invited distinguished leaders from a variety of industries to share their experiences and personal stories of managing major Chinese enterprises in the U.S.

The event began with opening remarks from CGCC Chairman, President and CEO of Bank of China U.S.A. XU Chen. 

Mr. XU’s remarks were followed by an in-depth discussion among three business leaders: Jeff LIU, CGCC Board Director and President & CEO of Fuyao Group North America, Yulin (Kevin) JIANG, CEO of Phoenix Paper Wickliffe LLC, and Bei (Vivian) Li, President of Wison USA, LLC.

The discussion covered a variety of topics such as cultural and operational differences between Chinese companies and U.S. companies, challenges with hiring local talent, and operating during a global pandemic.
