On December 7, CGCC Foundation supported the D.C. Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs’ (MOAPIA) “Share a Smile, Give a Toy” Toy Drive & End of the Year Holiday Celebration at the Old Council Chamber in Washington, D.C.
Volunteers from CGCC-Washington D.C. and CGCC member companies China Unicom Americas, Alibaba, and RosettiStarr joined the volunteer event.
Every year, MOAPIA holds its Annual Toy Drive & End of the Year Holiday Celebration for underserved youth and their families in the D.C. area. This year, the event’s 140 participants, aged 3-15 years old, received toys and took part in musical games, face painting, balloon twisting and a toy raffle. The participants also enjoyed a delicious pizza dinner and refreshments.
CGCC Foundation extends a heartfelt thanks to all of its volunteers and members in support of this initiative. CGCC Foundation will continue to give back to the local community and help Chinese enterprises in the US to better fulfill corporate social responsibility through these charity programs.
