On Wednesday, October 30th, 2019, China General Chamber of Commerce – USA (CGCC) hosted a Lunch & Learn event in New York titled “How Your Company’s Employee Benefits Can Help to Attract & Retain Talent”. Richard Kosinski and Gui Wu from Brio Benefit Consulting shared their insights and suggestions on how companies can better utilize and plan their employee benefits and discussed the various communication strategies companies can use to present these benefits to employees.

On October 12th, China General Chamber of Commerce-USA (CGCC), CGCC Foundation, and HongkunUSA Real Estate Development LLC (Hongkun) co-hosted “2019 The First Hongkun Cup Badminton Invitational” at Life Time Athletic at Sky in Midtown, Manhattan. About 50 contestants from 11 different CGCC member companies and partners came together for an exciting day of friendly competition and sportsmanship.

On October 10th, China General Chamber of Commerce-USA (CGCC), CGCC Foundation and CGCC-Los Angeles hosted the “Chinese Investment in the U.S.: The Path Forward” in Los Angeles. About 150 guests from CGCC member companies, government officials, think tanks, and other organizations attended the event.

On September 17th, Xiao Yuqiang, CGCC Vice-chairman, Chairman of the US Management Committee of ICBC; Vivek K. Sarin, Interim Secretary of the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development and Jeff Liu, CGCC Board Director, President and CEO of Fuyao Group North America participated in a panel discussion focusing on Chinese Investment in the U.S. at the Vision China Forum: “China-US Relations: 40 Years and Beyond” held at the Asia Society in New York.

On September 17th, China Daily USA and Bank of China hosted the 8th Vision China Forum: “China-US Relations: 40 Years & Beyond”, at the Asia Society in New York. CGCC served as a special event partner at the event. With over 200 guests in attendance, including more than 80 representatives from CGCC member companies, the forum convened distinguished leaders in China-US relations to discuss how the two countries should resolve their differences and advance their ties.

On the eve of the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival, China General Chamber of Commerce – Washington DC Chapter (CGCC-DC) hosted the Annual Mid-Autumn Festival gathering in Arlington, Virginia. Nearly one hundred representatives from CGCC member companies and partner organizations gathered at “Top of The Town” to celebrate CGCC-DC’s accomplishments and the holiday.

On September 7th, China General Chamber of Commerce-USA (CGCC), CGCC Foundation, and China Construction America co-hosted “2019 The 10th CCA Cup Table Tennis Invitational” at the Lily Yip Table Tennis Center in Dunellen, New Jersey. Over 70 contestants and 15 teams from CGCC member companies and partners traveled from all across the United States for a day of friendly competition and sportsmanship.
