  • Since the start of the Coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, hospitals throughout the city have been facing a shortage of face masks and crucial medical supplies. To support doctors battling at the frontlines of the deadly virus outbreak, China General Chamber of Commerce – USA (CGCC) Foundation has appropriated $30,000 to purchase surgical-grade masks and other essential medical supplies to donate to hospitals in Wuhan as part of its ongoing Wuhan Medical Supply Donation Effort.

  • On Thursday, January 9th, 2020, China General Chamber of Commerce – USA (CGCC) hosted an intimate lunch and discussion with Mr. Anthony Scaramucci, Former White House Communications Director, and Founder and Co-Managing Partner of SkyBridge Capital. Over 40 guests from American and Chinese member companies and partner organizations were brought together for the event at the Bank of China Building in Manhattan.

  • On December 10th, 2019, China General Chamber of Commerce-San Francisco Chapter (CGCC – SF) and Asia Society Northern California co-hosted the “2019 Corporate Social Responsibility Forum” at the Marriott Hotel, in Burlingame, California. With the topic “Responsibility and Future,” this forum brought together hundreds of business leaders to discuss the various ways that overseas Chinese businesses can deliver and perform their social responsibilities.

  • NEW YORK – On December 10th, 2019, China General Chamber of Commerce – USA (CGCC) partnered with the South China Morning Post (SCMP) to host, “China Conference: USA” at The Altman Building, in Manhattan. With the theme “Competition or Cooperation?,” the conference brought together over 300 experts and leaders from the U.S. and China “to learn about and discuss how the global economic, social and technological landscape will evolve during this time of immense competition and conflict between the two superpowers.”

  • On Friday, December 6th, 2019, China General Chamber of Commerce-USA (CGCC) hosted a Lunch & Learn event titled “Uncover the Leadership Story: Translating Experience and Vision into Reality” at the Bank of China Building in Manhattan. CGCC was honored to invite Ms. Shau Zhang, Partner & EY Americas Leader of China Overseas Investment at Ernst & Young LLP as guest speaker of the event.
