  • On April 23rd, 2021, China General Chamber of Commerce – USA (CGCC), and CGCC Foundation joined by CGCC-Chicago, D.C., Houston, LA, SF, hosted a webinar titled “Supporting ‘Stop AAPI Hate’ Efforts: As an Individual, a Company, and Community as a Whole.” CGCC was honored to invite three experts from different backgrounds to share their views on how to best support “Stop AAPI Hate” efforts with CGCC members and the greater community.

  • On November 18th, 2020, China General Chamber of Commerce – Houston Chapter and EY co-hosted “Managing Post Election Sino-US Trade Risks – Export Controls and Sanctions.” The webinar convened top professionals in the U.S.-China trade landscape who spoke about the future of the U.S.-China relationship post-U.S. Election and the various export controls and sanctions put into place by both the U.S. and Chinese governments.

  • The establishment of a new US-China economic relationship during the epidemic and the economic recovery after the epidemic are issues of great concern to all sectors of society in China and the United States. CGCC-Chicago held a webinar on June 11, 2020, with the topic of “Business Recovery During COVID-19”.

  • NEW YORK, June 3rd, 2020 – China General Chamber of Commerce-USA and CGCC Foundation delivered 50,000 surgical masks to the Transport Workers Union Local 100 (TWU Local 100) headquarters in Brooklyn, to help protect New York City transit workers who continue to work around the clock during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • As the coronavirus outbreak evolves quickly in the US, numbers of COVID-19 cases continue to rise. California, including the Greater Los Angeles area, has declared a state of emergency. Lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) for First Responders including frontline medical workers has become a top issue.

  • Since the start of the Coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, hospitals throughout the city have been facing a shortage of face masks and crucial medical supplies. To support doctors battling at the frontlines of the deadly virus outbreak, China General Chamber of Commerce – USA (CGCC) Foundation has appropriated $30,000 to purchase surgical-grade masks and other essential medical supplies to donate to hospitals in Wuhan as part of its ongoing Wuhan Medical Supply Donation Effort.

  • On Thursday, January 9th, 2020, China General Chamber of Commerce – USA (CGCC) hosted an intimate lunch and discussion with Mr. Anthony Scaramucci, Former White House Communications Director, and Founder and Co-Managing Partner of SkyBridge Capital. Over 40 guests from American and Chinese member companies and partner organizations were brought together for the event at the Bank of China Building in Manhattan.
